Soapbox 1324: Worcester Healthy Baby Collaborative

WCCA TV Executive Director Mauro DePasquale interviews Sheliah Dooley, Executive Director at Pernet Family Health Service Inc. and Joel Wallen, Associate Executive Director at Pernet Family Health Service, Inc. about Worcester Healthy Baby Collaborative. Created in 1996, the Collaborative continues its dedication to reducing the rates of premature birth and infant deaths within the city of Worcester. More than 30 agencies devote time and resources to the collaborative and they are continuously looking for new organizations and individuals to become involved. The members of WHBC have donated hundreds of hours of volunteer time, engaging in the community and assisting agencies in grants to invest in the maternal and infant health of the citizens of Worcester.
