On this episode of the Senior Speak, host Edith Morgan welcomes Steve Quist, the former vice chairperson of the Worcester Cable Advisory Committee, to speak on why he and 3 others resigned from the 5 person committee in protest of City Manager Eric Batista's decision to renew the city's contract with Charter Communications/Spectrum, in spite of the committee's recommendations to the contrary, citing Charter's breach of contract in regards to honoring a senior discount, and deeper concerns of telecommunications monopolies becoming less and less accountable to the public.
