Rosen's Roundtable 509: Homeless Encampments/School Committee Salaries

Gary Rosen and his local political panel of Candy Mero-Carlson, Moe Bergman and Matt Walley discuss whether the city and its Quality of Life team should no longer engage in sweeps of unhealthy and possibly unsafe homeless encampments on public or private property. The pros and cons of establishing one or more city-sanctioned and highly supervised encampments are discussed. And the panel agrees that the $17,000 salary of Worcester School Committee members is more than adequate because the meeting, event and constituent service workload is much less for those officeholders than for City Councilors.
