Rosen's Roundtable 503: Municipal Broadband/Old Sturbridge Village

Gary Rosen and his panel of Candy Mero Carlson and Matt Wally discuss whether Worester has the interest and financial ability to build a municipal broadband network across the city. The City Manager has said that such a city project is presently impossible. However, not all the news is bad because Verizon has announced that it is bringing its Fios fiber internet to Worcester customers. Finally Spectrum/Charter will have some long-awaited competition. The panel also discusses whether the Worcester School Committee's decision to no longer allow 3rd grade field trips to Old Sturbridge Village is retribution for OSV's plans to open a charter school in the city.
