On this episode of the Human Touch, host Augustine Kanjia welcomes Boston-based independent filmmaker Thitu Muiruri, a Kenyan American immigrant that uses her art to explore complex social issues through the lens of African diaspora communities and affect change. Her films cover topics from male sexual abuse and the stigma surrounding it, to issues like tribalism, culture shock and other challenges faced in the diaspora.
