Theater Community is celebrating Grace Leslie’s 90th birthday. She has been a
stage and musical theater performer her entire life and she is still able
to act & memorize 45 pages of dialogue,most recently for a 2-person, 2-act
play to be presented on Labor Day weekend., "Souvenir: A Fantasia
on the Life of Florence Foster Jenkins" by Stephen Temperley, in which Grace plays Ms.
Foster Jenkins (Meryl Streep played the role in the feature film) and her son
John, a fabulous pianist, plays her accompanist Cosme McMoon. This is a
production by John Leslie’s West Boylston JEMS Theatre group.
Dates are Fri. Aug. 31 at 7pm, Sat. Sept. 1 at 2pm and Mon. Sept. 3 at 7pm All admission is $15.00
