In this second episode of a two-part series on Defining Good Health, host Christine Greige speaks to Clinical Psychologist Deniz Ahmadinia, specializing in PTSD, CPTSD and evidence-based therapies, about the emotional scars left from growing up, living and coping with a narcissistic or otherwise emotionally immature caregiver. They speak on how drawing attention to the dysfunction and abuse can make a narcissist feel personally attacked, as they have little ability to empathize with others and recognize their own bad behavior. This can provoke a narcissist to project blame back onto the person confronting them, who they see as posing a threat to the status-quo social dynamic they've cultivated to serve their own fragile ego.
