On this episode of the Chandler Chat, Harriette Chandler welcomes Scott Casper, President of the American Antiquarian Society (or AAS, established in 1812), to speak on the incredible wealth of primary and secondary historical sources catalogued there, available to researchers, historians and even interested members of the public. As many fields of study were not taken seriously until recent times, from Indigenous American, Hawaiian and African American histories, to children's education and literature, much about our collective past has yet to be rediscovered, and AAS is an integral resource helping to fill those gaps in our historical knowledge.
