A Bridge to Better Mental Health explores topics that reduce stigma and
increase public awareness on topics related to mental health. Barry Walsh, Ph.D. has worked with adolescents for over 40 years in his therapy practice. He shares valuable information about the challenges teens face and the unique developmental stage of adolescence. He also has helpful
insights on why parents should think differently about their teens and how
to more effectively communicate with them during this phase. He concludes by
providing encouraging reminders that this time period is fairly brief and
parent/child relationships that were strong at age 8 will likely be so
again.
