The Voice of Heard/The Current State of Smoking Portrayal in Movies
Submitted by TC Tim on May 13, 2008 - 10:15am.
The following is a follow-up of yesterday's blog entry:
I did some research on the Internet today regarding smoking portrayal in movies rated G, PG, and PG-13. Currently, the movie industry is being pushed by anti-smoking advocates to consider smoking when applying ratings, along with violence and nudity. The major studios are now limiting, discouraging, or banning smoking as a form of glamorization.
There are plenty of articles regarding this topic on the Internet. If anyone happens find the latest news on smoking in movies, feel free to share the information with me. I have become curious about the issue.
